A church in the United States held a Prayer Station for a church in Belgium. The children in the U.S. prayed for boldness for the Belgian church, as requested. After a month's time of prayer, our PrayGround team connected with the children’s pastor in Belgium. She responded with excitement about how they were witnessing boldness in their church. Two children fell to their knees and asked Jesus to be their savior. Then, in the adult service, the speaker felt he needed to ask the congregation to get on their knees and release their heart to God. From the children’s pastor's viewpoint, everyone was kneeling before King Jesus. She explained with great illustration how this was very uncommon for the children and adults to get on their knees. She said only about 30% of the adults even stand during worship. The Belgian church witnessed boldness, and the children in the U.S. were a part of God moving in Belgium.

PrayGround has taught our family to have fun when worshiping Jesus. My daughter is gifted in dance. One day, during worship, she started dancing unlike ever before. I was brought to tears as I sat back and watched. The difference was that the Holy Spirit moved through her as she worshiped Jesus; it was beautiful.

We love our “prayer stations” in RLKids! This powerful method teaches our kids how to use God’s Word and agree in faith with each other in prayer for our city, country, and world! One of our recent prayer focuses has been the country of Fiji. Specifically, our kids have been praying for God to open doors in this beautiful country for the gospel to be spread. Amazingly enough, it’s happening! Dan and Natalie Joost, who many may know from our church, have recently been to Fiji to lead missions teams for YWAM. They are reporting back to us that God is miraculously moving in police stations and schools, and the opportunities keep growing! We believe in the power of prayer, and we can’t wait to see what God does in Fiji!
Renew Life Testimony
During a training in Honduras, our PrayGround team called our home church in the States. One of the women in Honduras was having back pain. One of the children in the States prayed for healing over her back over Facetime. Later, our PrayGround team asked how she was feeling. She told us it was feeling much better! In this same training, we received multiple testimonies of the leaders who now understood Papa God’s heart for children. Children are a part of God’s Kingdom now!
Honduras Testimony
Each morning, Judah enters into prayer with PrayStations. One morning, after we got our cups of decaf “toffee” together, he said, “Pray,” and reached for my hands. I asked Judah what he wanted to pray about. He said, “Jesus”. We prayed and talked to Jesus. Then he said, “Siah.” I was shocked. I said Josiah and Ciotka, and he said, “Yes, Siah and Ciotka”. (Josiah and Ciotka are Judah’s aunt and uncle.) We prayed together for Uncle Josiah and Aunt Ciotka as Josiah was currently on the mission field in a dangerous area, and Aunt Ciotka was holding down the home front. This was completely out of the blue. Judah was listening to the Holy Spirit to pray for his aunt and uncle at age two!

PrayGround has transformed our family and relationship with the Lord! The intentional and fun time together teaches us to be playful and bold as we explore what it means to communicate with our Father and live as sons and daughters of the king.

Our children have grown so much in their relationship with the Lord and confidence in prayer! It is amazing to watch them open their hearts to hear what the Lord has for others and them personally, too!

PrayGround has guided us to create a space for our children to experience Jesus. We have witnessed our children respond to situations with prayer, have a stronger identity in who they are in Christ, boldly pray out loud in front of people, be spiritually equipped, and hear God’s voice. It is incredibly rewarding to witness our children shape into Kingdom warriors.

When I was five years old, my city, Abilene, was in a severe drought. It had become a dire condition. One night in PrayGround, we were watching for pictures while praying for our city. I saw a picture of a bunch of rain and heard the numbers 40 inches in six weeks. My parents were extremely encouraging and believed I had heard the Lord. We began to pray into this at PrayGround. There was no doubt in my mind during prayer because I had learned that even as a kid, I could hear from the Holy Spirit, and He would do what He said He would do. We continued to pray, and then, finally, the drought broke! Our city received almost 40 inches in almost six weeks from the day I got this prophetic picture. To this day, I believe that because no one around me doubted that I had heard God, we saw this happen.
Abilene Testimony
My 18-month-old grandson, Judah, indicated that he wanted to go up front to meet Jesus as the pastor gave his altar call. He walked up on his own with Daddy following. The pastor knelt, and with tears in his eyes, he laid hands on Judah and prayed for him. Daddy and Judah were the only ones at the altar. They stayed and worshiped together. Not many pastors would have taken Judah seriously! And who knows what God was doing in his little heart; he was definitely marked by God. Maybe later, he will feel he needs to ask Jesus in his heart again, but then again, maybe not. Either way, Jesus and Judah have a deep connection. I am grateful for parents and pastors who encourage and steward that connection!
